Palau Environmental Conservation Symposium: Pre-meeting with Sophia Uni. Prof. McDonald & Ambassador Matsutaro of Palau

On July 6th, APIC President Sato invited Ambassador Francis Matsutaro of Palau and Professor Anne McDonald of Sophia University to the Tokyo Club for a discussion of opinions regarding the Pacific Region Environmental Conservation Symposium that is planned to take place in August.

The Association for Promotion of International Cooperation (APIC) is partnering with the Micronesia Conservation Trust (MCT) to give support to environmental protection projects in the Pacific Island region. As part of this cooperation, the Pacific region Environmental Conservation Symposium will be held on August 31st at the Palau International Coral Reef Center.

Ambassador Matsutaro was the former CEO of the Palau International Coral Reef Center, and provided invaluable feedback regarding the planned seminar.
